Vision for Tablero
When I first moved to Spain, I struggled to find a local gaming community, leaving me feeling somewhat adrift, like an island in the sea. What began as a small Facebook group for the Marina Alta area quickly evolved into a hub for weekly gatherings, where we discovered that tabletop gaming was not just a niche interest, but a thriving, widespread culture across the country.
Formalizing this as Tablero was the natural next step, allowing us to extend our reach into schools, town halls, and youth groups. This journey taught us that tabletop gaming is at its best when it moves beyond isolated, one-off events and becomes a consistent, reliable tradition in people’s lives.
My mission today is to build a community where the game is merely the catalyst for the real main event: human connection. We are creating a space that acts as a stable home base—unpretentious, welcoming, and accessible to everyone, regardless of age or nationality. By stripping away the administrative hurdles and high costs that often fragment the gaming landscape, we allow the focus to remain exactly where it belongs: on the people at the table. Our new website exists only to serve this purpose, acting as a silent, efficient partner that handles the logistics so that our members can spend their energy on what matters most—playing, connecting, and building relationships that last.
Ultimately, we are fostering a self-reinforcing culture that thrives on its own momentum. I believe that if you remove the barriers to entry and keep the environment straightforward, the community will naturally flourish. My vision is to create a sustainable, local-first alternative to the often-complex modern gaming world, ensuring that “making time to play” remains a simple, shared value. We aren’t just organizing games; we are building a durable, inclusive community that empowers people to show up, engage, and feel a true sense of belonging.
Professional Profile
I am dedicated to building a community where organization and gaming excellence go hand-in-hand. My professional background is built on a track record of creating highly effective and efficient organizations; I have spent my career leading complex teams, optimizing operational processes, and delivering successful, large-scale initiatives. I bring this same commitment to structure and quality to our association. Whether I am behind the screen as a Game Teacher or managing the technical infrastructure that supports our members, I focus on removing friction so that the gaming experience remains the priority. I specialize in mentoring people, guiding group dynamics, and ensuring our community functions as a seamless, well-managed environment. I believe that a great gaming session is the result of deliberate planning and clear communication, and I am committed to applying my experience to foster a professional, welcoming, and consistently high-quality experience for all our members.
Favourite Games
I like games that stretch my mind and naturally gravitate towards the more complex and strategic games.
