Joining Tablero is a fantastic way to immerse yourself in the vibrant tabletop gaming community in the Marina Alta. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive, welcoming space for everyone, regardless of your background or experience level.

Membership is open to individuals of all ages and nationalities. Whether you are a lifelong strategy gamer, a fan of role-playing games, or simply looking to meet new people and discover a new hobby, there is a place for you at our table.

How Much Does It Cost?
Associate Membership of Tablero only costs €60 per year (only €5 per month). We also offer a Family membership arrangement – if one member of a family is an Associate Member of Tablero, they can purchase other memberships for their family for only €36 per year each. We also offer 3-monthly and 6-monthly payment options if money is tight and you can’t afford €60 in one go.
Where Does My Money Go?
Tablero is a not-for-profit organisation. We use any funds that we gain for the benefit of the Association. You can find out more about our Purchasing Policy here.
Legal Requirements & Considerations
As an association registered under Spanish law (Ley Orgánica 1/2002), our operations are governed by a standard set of statutes designed to ensure transparency and community safety. Please note the following regarding your membership:
- Minors: Individuals under the age of 15 are encouraged to join, though their registration will require the consent of a parent or legal guardian in accordance with Spanish civil regulations.
- Identification: As part of the joining process, you will be asked to provide basic personal identification (NIE/NIF) to fulfill our legal requirement of maintaining an accurate Libro de Socios (Membership Register).
- Statutes & Conduct: By becoming a member, you agree to abide by the association’s internal statutes and code of conduct. These rules are in place to ensure that our gaming environment remains respectful, safe, and enjoyable for all attendees.
- Non-Profit Nature: As a non-profit entity, any membership fees collected are strictly reinvested into the association’s activities, such as maintaining our game library, organizing tournaments, and securing event space.

Important Note: To ensure we maintain the standards and spirit of our association, we follow a formal admission procedure. Once you complete the form below, your application will be submitted to our Secretary, who will verify your details and add your request to join the association to the agenda for our next Board of Directors meeting. Once you have completed this form, you will also be offered the opportunity to register as a pending member on the website. If your request to join is approved, any pending website registration will also be approved.
