Founded in the heart of the Marina Alta, Tablero is a registered, non-profit tabletop gaming association dedicated to bringing people together through the power of play. Our mission is to build a vibrant, inclusive, and multi-generational community where board games, role-playing games, and tactical wargames serve as a bridge for social connection, mental well-being, and structured recreation. By moving “beyond Monopoly” and embracing the rich world of modern tabletop gaming, we provide a welcoming space for enthusiasts and newcomers alike to gather, share experiences, and challenge their minds.
At the core of our association is an infrastructure built for sustained engagement and high-level community service. Tablero hosts regular, structured gaming sessions across prominent local hubs – including Denia, Beniarbeig, Pego, Javea and Pedreguer – alongside competitive tournaments and specialized community events. Backed by a carefully curated game library and a dedicated digital management platform (this website), our members (many of whom have large game collections of their own that they bring along to our events) enjoy seamless access to a massive variety of modern tabletop experiences. Our internal regulations, clear code of conduct, and formal organizational structure ensure that every event is run safely, professionally, and to the highest standards.
